Lewis University
Monday March 3
Event/Time | Team
Time | 1st leg (goal) | 2nd leg (goal) | 3rd leg (goal) | 4th leg (goal) |
Girls 4x800m | 10:56.6 | Monica (2:27.4) | Teresa (2:41.8) | Marily (2:47.4) | Ashley (2:59.7) |
We ran tough in front of heet 1. monica blazed us out to the lead as expected.
She looks like she’ll put an assult on 2:24 iptt auto qual mark in coming weeks. Teresa/Marily ran fine splits and have bright season’s
ahead. Ashley needs to get 100% (and is feeling better) and look out for a big april. |
Boys 4x800m | 8:35.11 | Jeremy (2:06) | Jorge (2:06) | Justen (2:12.2) | Ivan (2:08.56) |
We finished 5th . Not up to our usual high 3200R standards but 1st
200m track. Fast times will come! |
Girls 4x200m | 1:49.8 | Kellion (26.5) | KG (26.4) | Chequia (27.8) | Joy (28.3) |
IPTT Qual 1:49.0 OHHHHH we just missed it. We’re
on it in coming weeks!!!! WOW 26 splits from Gordon sisters!!! |
Boys 4x200m | 1:34.8 DQ | Roger (23.5) | OJ (23.7) | B Shaw (23.47) Bad Handoff | Steve O (24.0) Bad Handoff |
Iptt Qual
1:34.0. I still like our chances. I think all 4 guys will run LOW 23’s at
proviso. 2nd time only in spikes we’ll be ok. |
Girls 4x400m | 4:19.7 | Chequia (64.8) | KG (63.8) | Kellion (64.2) | Monica (66.6) |
Iptt Qual 4:10.8. I like our chances if this is an event we want to qualify at lewis
#2. Kellion what a warrior stepping in last second for a hurting joy. SO PROUD of both
our frosh here. Terrific early marks for all!!! |
Boys 4x400m | 3:35.2 | Web (54.4) | Jorge (53.0) | Nesto (55.5) | B Shaw (52.1) |
Iptt Qual 3:31.9. Looking at this race on tape we left
4 seconds on the track. (which would have qualified us). Web NEEDS to come out of blocks
and get into sprinter mindset in the first 50m. he should be 52. Jorge got every
second of his time Nice 53.0. Nesto ran tough but should have passed the leaders 250 m into his leg.
He got held up could be 54.5. and B shaw was also held up after initially closing a gap.
He could have blazed by and ran 51 but he ran to win and can’t be faulted for his “sit and kick”.
I love our 4x400 under 3:30 at lewis #2. |
