Bring to a Track Meet Checklist:
Note for Parents: The Return Times (R) on our schedule are best estimates. Our competitions
don't run on a clock. The length of the event depends on the # of athletes competing which can vary from year to
year.
What does an Athlete need to Be ready for the Track Season?
1) Proper Training Shoes. This is the single most important peice of equipment. A good everyday training shoe can protect the athlete's legs from the everyday running we do in practice. Fleet feet sports (at wilson and lincoln) has a great selection and gives a 10% discount to our high school runners. 2) Warm clothes. Hats, gloves, and Layers of athletic clothing are mandatory. We do a portion of our daily training outside. If purchasing UNDERARMOR for warmth please remember to get black so it may be used in competitions. (we all must match) 3) A Sports Physical that is less than 1 year old. Fees and Equipment
